Joe began trading the financial markets in 1989 starting with Commodity Futures. Over the next 10 years, he expanded his trading to other markets including equities (stocks) and foreign exchange. During that time, he took a part time approach to trading because he owned and operated a sound contracting company and three video rental stores. He didn’t get serious about his trading business until the late 90’s. In 2000, he began trading equity options and embraced that market.
He took a number of stock and option educational courses and by early 2003, became an instructor for Optionetics, the leading option education company at that time. He quickly became a Lead Instructor of both on-ground and online education courses. He has traveled across the globe teaching entry level content up through the most advanced strategies.
For over 20 years he has brought his high energy and common-sense approach of teaching and trading to countless thousands of students.
Over the years Joe has created and developed excellent training materials for both live “in person” seminars, as well as online presentations. He has also created a number of trading systems and automated trading applications on a variety of trading platforms.

Gerardo began his trading journey two and a half years ago, coinciding with the inception of Michael Wade Trade Coaching. Through his dedication and immersion in the weekly trading sessions, paired with personal coaching from Mike and countless hours of practice, Gerardo quickly mastered the complexities of options trading. MATT THEARLE
Matt is a highly accomplished individual with over 20 years experience in enterprise sales spanning several industry verticals in the Australian ICT Industry. Matt has successfully built and led large multi-disciplinary sales teams across metropolitan and regional areas to consult, design and deliver multi-million-dollar complex ICT solutions.
Commencing his trading journey with Optionetics in 2011, Matt has more than 10 years of trading experience. Over the years, he has grown into an advanced trader mastering several options strategies and trading systems. In 2020, Matt took the opportunity to pivot his career and focus on his passion for trading. During this pivotal time, Matt met Mike and embarked on an intensive mentoring program graduating as an advanced option trader and systems master.
Matt and Mike formed a strong friendship and shared passion for trading, continuing to work together running live trading webinars, coaching, undertaking market analysis, developing trading systems, back-testing strategies and more.
Matt is a genuine, authentic, and transparent individual who in his spare time, enjoys the simple things in life such as spending time with his family and friends.
